Gregory Oakes has over 30 years of leadership experience spanning clinical-stage biotechnology companies and Fortune 500 pharmaceutical organizations. Prior to joining Slate, Mr. Oakes was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Landos Biopharma, a public clinical-stage I&I company acquired by AbbVie. He previously held senior executive positions including President, North America for Vifor Pharma, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of I&I at Celgene Corporation, Senior Vice President at Novartis Corporation, and various roles at Schering-Plough/Merck. Mr. Oakes earned an MBA from Clemson University and a BS from Edinboro University.
